The concert began. A beautiful young woman who could have been the model for Disney’s Snow White character appeared from no where. She wore short, black wavy sea hair and had dark black eyelashes (ones that put fake eyelashes to shame). Batting her eyelashes, she asked, “Is this seat taken?”

“Uh, no”, I said, I felt like I knew her. I was entranced.“Do I know you from somewhere?” I asked.

“Yes. We’ve met before,” she answered and sat down next to me.

“Oh,” I said, not sure if I’d really met her before or maybe conjured her up in my mind and she became real. But, that’s how it is, when you create stories and characters, at least for me.

At intermission, they announced a special Valentine raffle. You could win a bouquet of red roses and/or a box of chocolates. As I was still trying to lose the ten pounds I had gained from the last few months of my dismal failure on Match. Okay, I’ll admit it. I had forty-four first dates in six months and had the extra pounds to prove it. But, here I was—no date on Valentine’s Day.

I focused on the red roses. I wanted those red roses…red roses have the highest vibration of all flowers. I felt they would be drawn to me and only me because of my essence and their essence. I mean, come on! I am the creator of the human fairy folklore where red roses are a preeminent talisman in my chronicle. They were meant for me! I was going to manifest my own Valentine’s flower’s from the universe.

The MC, a slight elfish man in pink jeans leapt onto the stage. With a charming English accent, he announced, “It’s time, beautiful girls and boys. Get your raffle tickets out!” The audience shuffled bit to find their tickets. I noticed Snow White had neither a concert program nor a raffle ticket. I leaned in. “You need to go back to the lobby and get your program.”

She shook her head no.

“But,…there’s a raffle ticket attached.” I said.

She smiled and shrugged. “That’s ok!”

Out of nowhere, like magic – POOF! A slender, good-looking man a few seats away leaned across the chairs. “Here take mine.” He smiled.

Where did he come from, I thought. I hadn’t seen him there. The seats were all empty next to me. No, I don’t miss a thing. I am a triple Virgo! I blinked a few times.
